    About Us:

    Beaumaris Health and Wellbeing group is launching an Expert Witness service to the healthcare, legal and insurance sectors. Building upon our existing Psychological Expert Witness service, we are looking to expand in to providing services that include Nursing and Care reports (Quantum) & Liability/Breach of Duty reports

    Beaumaris Health and Wellbeing Group currently provides a range of health care related services, including Psychological Expert Witness service to insurers and solicitors. We are looking to build on this sound foundation and develop the Expert Witness service further in to other Medico-Legal areas.

    The Business Development Manager would build the current service and expand the areas of work beyond the Psychological clinical area. This will include recruiting associate expert witnesses, develop strategic plans, improving existing services and undertaking marketing activities.

    Based in Newport, Shropshire, a flexible approach to working hours and location would be desirable A desire to grow a business beyond its current size is essential.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Identify opportunities within the Case Management and Medico-Legal market and actively manage the same.
    • Demonstrate a clear business development plan that identifies key opportunities and risks and manages these with stakeholders.
    • Achieve and exceed revenue targets across various workstreams, such as Claimant Solicitors, Defendant Solicitors, Case Management, Medico-Legal Reports and Insurers.
    • Identify areas of risk and ensure the impact is mitigated.
    • Develop new routes to market and draft propositions.
    • Recruitment of experts on either contracted or associate basis

    What are we looking for?

    • Experience of working as a clinical professional (Nursing or Occupational Therapist) as an expert witness.
    • Proven record of service development.
    • Track record of managing relationships with significant clients.
    • Project management skills.
    • Understanding of the UK Medico-Legal services market.

    Beaumaris Group is a multi-disciplinary health care provider based in the Shropshire area. It has been providing support to individuals in the Shropshire area for over nine years.
    We provide domiciliary and learning disability support care to young adults, adults and the elderly with our bespoke care packages tailored to meet the needs of our clients, so that they may stay in the comfort of their own home within their own community.

    We support people with dementia, learning difficulties, mental health, alcohol abuse, night care, palliative and respite care. Enabling them to remain in their own homes and maintain their dignity and independence.

    You and the Role

    Beaumaris Group, based in Newport, Shropshire is looking for individuals in the Telford, Wrekin and Shropshire areas who enjoy working with people, and an ability to show empathy and warmth to all. You should be approachable and make our clients feel at ease regardless of the setting.

    As an individual it is essential that you are highly organised and can document important information to a high standard to pass on to team leaders and the management.

    Due to the nature and location of work a driving licence and own vehicle is essential.

    The duties of our Community and Learning Disability Support Worker roles include all the fundamentals of personal care this can be supporting the client with all aspects of daily living.
    You must ensure the safe mobility of clients by referring to the moving and handling legislation.

    You will need to offer companionship to all our clients. We have various flexible shifts available over the seven days in the week. We also have both sleeping and waking nights shifts available.
    Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

    We do not require you to have any experience in the profession (although experience is invaluable).
